Everett, Halama spark victory over 'Stormers

Two former Seattle Mariners, Carl Everett and John Halama, combined to inundate the Lancaster Barnstormers Monday evening as the Long Island Ducks captured the opener of a three-game series, 7-2, at Citibank Park.
Everett homered twice, doubled and drove in four runs while Halama faced the minimum of 18 batters over the first six innings as the Ducks won their fourth straight game to start the second half of the Atlantic League season.
