The Jewish Week 07-15-2005 One of the more troubling aspects of the terror attack on London last week was the sense of inevitability about it. The bombs on the subways and bus that killed more than 50 people and injured hundreds more were shocking, but far from unexpected. The scenes of stunned, wounded civilians followed by outraged national leaders pledging ever firmer resolve against those who commit these horrific deeds were all too familiar, from New York to Madrid to Jerusalem, and around the world.
