This rural Dane County community was breathing a collective sigh of relief Sunday relief that someone had been arrested in the death of Deysi Mendez and relief that the suspect was not one of their own.

Authorities believe Joseph Phelan, 23, a delivery driver for Dunham Express of Madison, had tried to deliver Deysi a package from her Mexican family Aug. 30, but nobody was home.
