But I haven't been given a chance.' Hasn't he then made some rather bizarre career choices, from oafish gardener Joe Mangel in Neighbours, through Big Breakfast co-host to game-show habitue? Little groans wearily.
'People come up to me and say: "I know you."
And I'm like: "No you don't. You think I'm some nice sweet gardener. Well I'm not. I'm a twisted, alternative pop artist.''...
