Bill Hudson, information technology services manager for Library System of Lancaster County, said he's been thinking about Murphy's Law a lot lately. It started last Wednesday, when three hard drives helping to connect all 16 of the county's public libraries crashed. The malfunction blocked access to all the information stored in Library System of Lancaster County's databases, making it impossible for library employees to check in books.
