Levi Strauss Revamps Sportswear Operations Levi Strauss & Co. has formed a new operating company called Levi Strauss Sportswear (LSS) which will domestically manufacture and market most men's sportswear and women's jeans, dress and casual slacks. Most of these areas had been part of Battery Street Enterprises (BSE). Leo P. Isotalo has been named president of the new division which will be phased in over the next six weeks.
