Sir: England has been our host for six thoroughly happy years, and what a generous and noble host it has been. Before we go back to Germany, let me tell you what I love about England. The first thing is the people we have met. For me, talking with English people feels almost like drinking champagne - the conversation is light and sparkling, without being superficial.
