Lee Charles Moorehead of Batavia
A memorial celebration for Lee Charles Moorehead, 84, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Batavia United Methodist Church, 8 N. Batavia Ave., Batavia. Born Feb. 28, 1919, in Peoria, Ill., the son of Lee Coddington and Dial Winifred Davis Moorehead, he died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Michaelsen Health Center. Soon after he was born, Lee and his family moved to Decatur, Ill. and at age three, he suffered the loss of his father. He went down the street from his home to Millikin University.
