I was pleased to open The Post on Feb. 12 and find a map of my home islands, the Northern Marianas on Page A4. The existence and affairs of these newest members of America's political family are too little known in this capital. But "slave labor conditions" is not the headline I would choose to see above this rare coverage. And I feel it is important to dispel any notion Post readers may have that my government would encourage the practices alleged.
