LEGAL executives are qualified lawyers who work with solicitors in private practices, commercial companies' legal departments and the Civil Service. They have at least five years' experience working under the supervision of a solicitor and have passed the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) qualifying examinations in their legal specialisation.
