L&T, FILENE'S SET EXPANSION PLANS IN NATICK, MASS. MALL NEW YORK -- Lord & Taylor will build a 100,000-square-foot store at the Natick mall in Natick, Mass., beginning in 1990. The two-level unit is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 1991.
During the same time period, Filene's will increase the size of its Natick store by 70,000 square feet, bringing its total space to 180,000 square feet. Although the men's department will also be expanded, a Filene's spokesperson said the total square footage of the department after the renovation is unknown.
