Hoping to offset inflation and keep in-house programs operating, the Department of Labor and Industries is proposing a 2.87 percent fee increase that, if approved, would apply to inspection, permitting, licensing and certification services within the building and construction trades.
A public hearing on the fee proposal is scheduled from 1 to 7 p.m., May 22 in the auditorium of the Labor and Industries building at 7273 Linderson Way in Tumwater....
