The first time Ellen talked to God she was wearing her favorite flowered pajamas. It was right after her ritual blessing of the dolls. It wasn't that Ellen particularly cared for dolls, she just didn't want to hurt their feelings. She blessed them nightly. God bless Miranda, Baby Betty, and Dinah and Tina ... She paused.
