Knight, hunter settle suit after 1999 accident

Madison -- Insurers for former Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight have reached a confidential out-of-court settlement with a northern Wisconsin man who was accidentally shot by the coach during a 1999 grouse hunting trip.
Thomas Mikunda, 50, of Exeland had claimed in a federal lawsuit that Knight, now head basketball coach at Texas Tech, negligently caused the accident that left birdshot embedded in Mikunda's shoulder, and then intimidated him in an attempt to cove...
