A Madison couple with deep roots of volunteerism in the community will be honored for their work in keeping the legacy of Martin Luther King alive.
Virginia M. Henderson, Ph.D., and Perry A. Henderson, M.D., are joint recipients of the Dane County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recognition Award. The award will be made at the city-county Martin Luther King Jr. observance Monday at the Civic Center. The program begins at 6 p.m.
