THEY spent months ensuring the course was perfect for the world's topgolfers during the Ryder Cup but now greenkeepers at the K Club are to servestrike notice within days.
The workers are unhappy at management plans to make two of their numberredundant giving them just four weeks' pay per year of service.
They are also taking action because bosses at the prestigious club plan to cutthe working week to three days.
Rates of pay are also an issue. ColmQuinlan,ofthe keeper's union, Amicus, described the redundancy settlement as 'skimpy'.
