KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Cleanup of Hanford's K Basins could be delayed possibly up to an additional three years and will cost even more than expected, according to the top contractor official at the federal site.

And that potential delay comes as there is continuing dissatisfaction with the subcontractor in charge of the K Basins cleanup, said Hank Hatch, Fluor Daniel Hanford's president.
