OREGON, Mo. - A month after April's election, the South Holt County School Board election results are official.
According to the May 6 recount, incumbent Greg Book lost the April 6 election by one vote. Earlier election results had Mr. Book losing by two votes - a total he petitioned for a recount last month. The final count has Vicki Meng with 197 votes and Mr. Book with 196 votes. The votes of the other candidates in the race remain unchanged.
