Joanne Meckley, 78, of Denver, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the home of her daughter in E. Earl. Born in Clay, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Elsie (Wealand) Risser. Her husband, Robert B. Meckley, died April 13, 1994. Joanne attended Lititz High School, and worked for Hess Brothers Eggs for six years. She worked part-time for Sauder Eggs, and retired from Pennfield Eggs, where she worked from 1967 to 1995. She was a licensed Pennsylvania Egg Inspector and was the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
