Jeremy Moon exhibited his abstract paintings extensively in London and Germany for a decade beginning in 1962. He had solo exhibitions and was included in curated and published surveys of contemporary British art. Since his untimely death in 1973--at the age of 39, in a motorcycle accident--there have been only a retrospective at the Serpentine Gallery (1976) and a small touring survey sponsored by the British Arts Council (2001). To reintroduce this artist, Rocket Gallery assembled two of his abstract paintings, several collages and a remarkable group of small pastel drawings.
