Dardanelle Hadley, a jazz legend who once lived in Glen Rock, died Friday in Memphis, Tenn., of complications following heart surgery. She was 79.
For jazz enthusiasts, the name Dardanelle is synonymous with a bygone era of jazz lounges and often female-led acoustic combos.
