Our critics appraise the season and offer their 'high -five' predictions The boom in jazz recording activity has created a widening of the audience for this music, even though the number of Greater Boston clubs has dwindled in the last two years. Those facilities continuing to present jazz on a regular basis are the Willow Jazz Club in Somerville and the Regattabar, Ryles and the 1369 Jazz Club in Cambridge.
