The company specializes in: gear shaping, gear hobbing, CNC turning, CNC milling, splines/pinions and broaching.
While J & L Gear and Machine is new, its owner, Larry Shorter, is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in machining for the aircraft industry.
Shorter has worked at some of the larger machining operations in the area serving in a wide range of capacities from machinist to supervisor to partner.
