ITALY'S third channel, RAI-Tre, once rated on the nation's sets and minds at zero, has become in the past year the most consistently interesting, often startling, of the three RAI channels. Indeed, it is more interesting than any of the other 30 commercial channels in Italy. The newcomer has shaken up her two ugly older sisters, in an almost perfect retelling of the Cinderella tale.
