JUST before 11am yesterday, the political equivalent of a kid goat stepped on a landmine. By the time the bone-splintering ka-boom had faded and the smoke settled, we had one Labour MP heading for a possible expulsion from Parliament and an inexperienced minister looking clumsy.
Little Ben Bradshaw (our goat) is a minister at the Foreign Office. He told his party colleague George Galloway (Glasgow Kelvin) that he was a 'mouthpiece' for Saddam Hussein.
Mr Bradshaw let the word drop lightly from his pretty young lips.
