Ellen Goodman is a Globe columnist. It is my turn now: My aunt, the keeper of Thanksgiving, has passed the baton, or should I say the drumstick. She has declared this a permanent legacy. Soon, according to plan, my grandmother's dishes will be delivered by cousin-courier to my dining room. So will the extra chairs and the communal chafing dishes.
