The word is "En-da-ian" in Ojibwe. "Ho ci" in Ho Chunk. And "Home" in English.

The concept of coming home and rebuilding families forms the theme of this year's Indian Summer festival, symbolized in some Indian cultures by that most loyal of mates, the wolf. The festival interprets the theme of "home" with events that are both serious and fun.
