Northwest Angle, Minn. -- To reach this hunting and fishing mecca by car, you have to cross the border into Canada, drive for more than 30 minutes, then cross back again into Minnesota where a sign tells you to phone U.S. inspectors from the Outlying Area Reporting Station at Jim's Corner.
