Researchers are claiming human immortality is just around the corner. Scientists at the University of Texas are saying we may be able to slow down, halt or even reverse human aging. We can do this, they say, by adding telomerase -- an enzyme that is part protein and part RNA -- to our system. The telomerase will trick our cellular clocks into continuously re-setting themselves instead of simply running down. Voila, eternal life.
