When you first arrive, ask the adults where you baby-sit about their fire escape plan. Have them show you the outside meeting place where everyone is to go after escaping a fire. Then you can make sure every child knows where this is.
Know the home where you are sitting. Learn all the exits. Know how to unlock doors and windows. Know two ways out of every room, especially bedrooms.
