We appreciate the serious attention The Post gave to our film "First Person Singular: I. M. Pei" {Style, March 5}. While we did not expect uncritical cheers from Benjamin Forgey, we do feel that a major part of the fault he found with our production derived from a misunderstanding of the concept of this series.
