Four nights at AmaKhosi Lodge
AmaKhosi translates as "place of the kings'' and is about as luxurious as safari lodges get. It's situated on the banks of the Mkuze River, surrounded by 43 square miles of private game reserve. In addition to the big five, the reserve shelters 15 different types of antelope, hippopotamus, crocodile and more than 400 bird species. The six magnificent river suites are all very spacious, with high thatched ceilings and glass walls looking out over the water. The food is superb and dinner is served by the floodlit pool.
