REVERE - Hondo Barbarian added another chapter to his lore Saturday night. With his upset victory in the $170,000 William F. Grady Memorial Sprint Championship at Wonderland Park, the 4-year-old reminded fans he is alive and well, despite all the pre-race hype surrounding 1-2 favorite K's Broadway, who finished second, 2 lengths behind. Hondo went off at 7-2 and paid $9.40, $3.20 and $2.20 after overtaking third-place finisher Ruff Scott early and holding off the charge of K's Broadway down the stretch to win the $60,000 prize in 30.94 seconds.
