This series of essays was originally presented at the 1997 Henry Drummond Centenary Symposium held at the University of Edinburgh and at the 1997 conference "Henry Drummond in America" held at Beeson Divinity School. Both conferences commemorated the one hundredth anniversary of Drummond's death in 1897.
