OWEN McDONALD Hallmark Home Entertainment, elated by what appears to be the industry's biggest prebook ever for a TV miniseries with Gulliver's Travels, is ramping up with new sellthrough products and lines for this year and next. The independent supplier says distributors and retailers pre-ordered 750,000 copies of Gulliver's Travels, which retails at $24.98 and streets Aug. 27. Hallmark estimates that up to 20 percent of prebook units went out as rental inventory. Previous record-holders for miniseries prebooks include Republic Pictures Home Video's Texas.
