Fans of Christmas in August will want to know that Arabesque has released last season's performance of Handel's "Messiah" by the Handel & Haydn Society on two CDs. This set is H & H's third commercial recording of its signature work. You could trace the history of performance practice in this work over the last half- century through these recordings.
