The Handel & Haydn Society has announced programs for its 2000-01 season, Christopher Hogwood's last as artistic director. Hogwood will conduct three sets of concerts. In October, he will lead performances of Mendelssohn's "Elijah" to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Symphony Hall. James Morris takes the title role, and Christine Brewer will be the soprano soloist, with the H & H chorus joined by the Boston Cecilia and Coro Allegro.
