The Handel & Haydn Society's 1998-'99 season will open with a Beethoven Spectacular, feature the world premiere of a commissioned work on the life of John F. Kennedy, delve again into the correspondences between jazz and Baroque music, with a performance featuring Gary Burton and Chick Corea, and present the annual "Messiah" performances featuring baritone Sanford Sylvan and soprano Cyndia Sieden.
