Take the family on a "Preparing for Winter" walk from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. Arboretum staff note that many birds are preparing their winter roosts while insects, reptiles and amphibians have other strategies for surviving Wisconsin winters. On the walk you'll have an opportunity to look for signs of their preparations.
