This disc arrived on an unfamiliar label based in New York City, as its name suggests. It was originally issued on Art & Musique AM/CD 107/39004 under the title "Florilège Grégorien," commemorating the 900th anniversary of the monastery's foundation (a point overlooked in the leaflet here), but-as stated in the leaflet-these recordings of the monks remain relatively unknown. Art & Musique is a small French label that has recorded a number of French monastic choirs, including over a dozen LPs and CDs...
