Pedant is used more positively (if comically) in Ann-Marie MacDonald's Goodnight Desdemona (GoodMorning Juliet) at the Classic Stage Company Theatre, but the sexist, elitist university is in full swing in the Canadian playwright's Shakespearean pastiche.
