A framed Biblical text hanging on the wall of our home during my growingup years said: 'Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.' (2 Timothy 2, verse 22) As it sometimes does at incongruous moments, this verse streamed across my mind like an advertising banner towed by a light aircraft.
