How much noise can 50,000 girls make? Molly Rafferty can tell you. She was part of an ocean of Girl Scouts who gathered for a sing-along on the National Mall five years ago to celebrate the organization's 85th birthday. "It's like a concert, except 20 times louder. It's like a huge chorus," said the 14-year-old scout. Rafferty, a Herndon ninth-grader, will have a chance Saturday afternoon to hear what an even larger girl-crowd sounds like.
