PATERSON — A 6-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car while crossing a city street Thursday afternoon.
Kayla Jones was hit by a vehicle driven by an 83-year-old city woman traveling on McBride Avenue toward West Paterson. Police said their initial investigation indicated the driver was not speeding during the 2:50 p.m. accident.
