SHARON - The sight of daffodils in bloom should be common next spring as a result of a newly launched beautification project. The Sharon Garden Club has set a goal of planting 1 million daffodil bulbs in private yards and public spaces. The program is expected to take several years to complete, with the first plantings set to take place in the fall. The bulbs will produce their first flowers next spring. The garden club is selling bulbs to homeowners to plant on their properties. Through donations from businesses and a small profit earned on the flower sales, the club will plant bulbs in parks...
