Gar-Field 7, Hylton 3 Gar-Field senior pitcher Justin Martin is not surprised that his team has qualified for four consecutive Virginia AAA Northwestern Region tournaments, the latest courtesy of a 7-3 win over Hylton yesterday at Forest Park in a playback to determine the Cardinal District regular season champion. Maybe Martin should be surprised. The Indians have advanced despite their expected ace, junior Eddie West, not recording a win until this week because of an elbow problem, and despite the team having its third coach, Steve DeNard, in four years.
