School nurses in North Tyneside are celebrating after winning an important pay grading victory as part of a CPHVA national campaign.

Employed by North Tyneside Primary Care Trust (PCT), the 13 school nurses could see salary rises of up to L2500 as a result. Another three school nurses in the PCT are waiting for the outcome of similar grievance procedures and all pay changes will be backdated to December 2001 when the claims were lodged.
