Tuxedo Junction, Hospice of Dayton's first-ever ballroom-dance fundraiser, will be from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Oct. 11 at Skateworld of Kettering, 1601 E. David Road, Kettering. The event is the brainstorm of Gail Pruett of Kettering, who sought to find a way to pay back the organization that had cared for her dying father and husband. Why are they partying?
To raise funds for patient care at Hospice of Dayton. Money also will go to such programs as Focused Care, Pathways of Hope (a grief center), crisis Hospice care and indigent care. What's in store?
