EUROPE'S biggest property services group, Groupe Vendme Rome, has bought a 75% interest in British property consultancy Weatherall Green & Smith.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, gives Paris-based Vendme its first strong foothold in Britain and is the latest step in the construction of a pan-European property advisory group that now includes Auguste Thouard in France and Germany's Mller International, each a leader in its markets.
Weatherall Green & Smith has 500 staff spread across three London offices and branches in Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester.
