Art is art, crafts are crafts, and business is business. While the dream of every artist and craftsperson is to earn a living doing what they love, it's fairly rare for the twain to meet in any major way.
One reason for that may be that artists and craftsmen, as a rule, do not turn out to be happy bookkeepers, managers or salespeople; something to do with the right and left sides of the brain.
